Biography:
Dr. Hughes is a licensed marriage and family therapist and AAMFT approved supervisor in the state of Utah with a Ph.D. from Brigham Young University. He is a Certified Sex Therapist through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT). He is also EMDR, EFT, Gottman, and Narrative trained. Dr. Hughes teaches in the marriage and family therapy graduate program as well as several undergraduate courses. He is the author of You, Me, and We: A Practical Guide to Marital Intimacy. He is the creator of the app Sexual Healing. He also owns Covenant Sex Therapy. Dr. Hughes is a member of both local (Utah Association for Marriage and Family Therapy; UAMFT) and national (American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy; AAMFT) professional associations.
