Dr. Lexie Daley received her masters and doctoral degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brigham Young University. She received specialized training in child trauma issues and family play therapy at the Gil Institute for Trauma and Recovery with Dr. Eliana Gil. While there, she also received training in sand tray therapy and art therapy. Dr. Daley currently has her own private practice, Sandcastle Family Counseling, in Holladay, UT.

 

Anthony Hughes, LMFT

MFT 645: Analysis and Treatment of Human Sexual Development

Dr. Anthony Hughes is a licensed marriage and family therapist and AAMFT approved supervisor in the state of Utah with a Ph.D. from Brigham Young University. In addition to owning and operating Covenant Sex Therapy, Dr. Hughes is an adjunct faculty teaching courses for graduate students at BYU and Argosy university focused on honing clinical skills and sex therapy. He has worked for many counseling centers in the Utah and Salt Lake county area, including LDS Family Services. He has presented at state and national conferences, taught sex therapy at BYU, supervised other therapists working with clients presenting with sexual issues, taught CEU courses, guest lectured at different universities, and worked with many clients struggling with sexual matters. Dr. Hughes is a member of both local (Utah Association for Marriage and Family Therapy; UAMFT) and national (American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy; AAMFT) professional associations. Dr. Hughes has received certification for participating in a Sexual Attitude Reassessment (SAR) training in Boulder Colorado.

Lori Schade, LMFT

Dr. Lori Schade has been involved in the profession and practice of marriage and family therapy since 1989, having earned a master’s degree from BYU in 1992 and a PhD from BYU in 2013. Lori has an extensive range and depth of experience in clinical practice, teaching and research. She is a Certified Supervisor in emotionally focused couples therapy as well as an AAMFT approved clinical supervisor. She has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals as well as a book chapter for clinical supervision. Dr. Schade currently has her own private practice, Compassionate Connections Counseling, in American Fork, UT.

 

Garret Roundy, LMFT

Dr. Garret Roundy is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He earned an M.S. and Ph.D. from BYU in Marriage and Family Therapy. His training includes treating children, teens, and adults for various issues within the format of individual, couple, and family therapy. Garret has developed a specialization in the treatment of anxiety and trauma-related disorders through studying scientific research and completing advanced clinical trainings. He has also presented on these topics in professional and community settings. For those struggling with anxiety or dealing with difficult experiences, Garret addresses the root of the problem, guiding clients through self-led change to transform chaos or rigidity into balance, harmony, and peace, both inside and out. To flexibly provide clients with research-based treatment, his approach integrates interpersonal neurobiology, family systems, internal family systems, mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral, experiential, attachment, emotion-focused, and EMDR therapies. A native of Cottonwood Heights, Utah, Garret loves mountains, clouds, photography, spending time with his wife and family, and eating cheese! Se fala Português y Se habla Español.
